I did not spend too much time on the design of this page, just as an exercise to show you a few things we could do with audio files and text and images combined. What you have below is the typical audio player made available in Squarespace 6. Fairly basic without too many frills. I then included smaller size players as well as an embed from SoundCloud just to see what it would look like. The main limitations here are those caused by my own design. In essence with more design work on the site this could be made to look pretty much any way you would want it to.
Clicking anywhere on the player will move the playhead to that spot. This allows for fairly responsive control.
